Defined STEM is a web-based project-based learning (PBL) software. It focuses not only on STEM, but on STREAMS—involving reading, arts and social studies. Teachers can customize the all-inclusive performance-based tasks for their students and assign them. All research material and support for students is included in the site. Each task is based on real-life careers and scenarios, but is also aligned to standards and curriculum. It’s a great tool to incorporate STEM, career investigation, collaboration and standard-based units and is very simple and intuitive for teachers and students to use.
