Equipment Maintenance is offered after the manufacturer warranty has expired or when a district has a need for additional coverage. Included in this service is the coordination of the on-site repair of workstations, laptops, printers, data storage devices, file servers and other critical system components. The NERIC Contact Center will coordinate the appropriate technicians to complete the work and monitor the repair status for client districts.
NERIC can help districts decide if covering a piece of equipment is of value. Such factors as replacement cost, ongoing maintenance cost and how critical the piece of equipment is to your district will be explored in the decision process.
- Equipment Maintenance pricing: Annual charge covers all non-consumable parts and labor costs required to repair the equipment. Equipment can be added for coverage during the year at a pro-rated cost.
- Time and materials: Call for non-covered equipment hourly rates; cost of parts and associated NERIC fee will be charged upon district commitment.
