NERIC can offer school districts the option of using an installment payment plan (IP) for the large-scale purchase of technology equipment.
Overview:
- Capital Region BOCES is authorized to enter into a lease agreement on behalf of the school district
- Three- to five-year terms are available
- This agreement can only be used for tangible items
- Warranties/maintenance must be carried on equipment for the life of the IP
- A $75,000 minimum threshold is required
- Requests must be sent six weeks prior to the date of the board meeting
