Technology Awareness Day 2017

The 29th Annual Regional Technology Awareness Day will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel in Albany, NY. from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The theme of Awareness Day 2017 is Ignite Learning: Inspire, Connect and Create.

  • Inspire: Tell your story. How do we craft and share our narrative with the world to inspire and be inspired?
  • Connect: Your school, your community, your network.
  • Create: An impact.

This year, Awareness Day is igniting learning to inspire you, connect you and create an impact in your practice.


Ruha BenjaminWe are pleased to announce our endnote speaker will be Ruha Benjamin, a professor of African American studies at Princeton University and author of People’s Science: Bodies and Rights on the Stem Cell Frontier (Stanford University Press). She has studied the social dimensions of science, technology, and medicine for over fifteen years and speaks widely on issues of innovation, equity, health, and justice in the U.S. and globally.
