A core service of the NERIC wide area network team and contact center, the Managed Network Infrastructure Monitoring and Support provides ongoing support and utilizes remote monitoring tools to support and monitor the status of critical network infrastructure devices, such as switches, routers and firewalls.

The NERIC contact center technicians and wide area network technicians will monitor these key network devices and connections in real-time and leverage both visual and email alerts. Ongoing support includes IOS and configuration changes, upgrades and future design planning. Maintenance and configuration changes will also be scheduled to minimize downtime during school hours.
