NERIC has secured a new CoSer from NYSED to support districts with the acquisition of the technology outlined in their Smart Schools Investment Plans (SSIP).
A series of board presentations in public session took place on Jan. 21 and Feb. 22 and included the six divisions of BOCES: Career and Technical Education (CTE), Management Services, Educational Support Services (ESS), Special Education and NERIC.
More than 600 students, administrators, faculty and technology leaders from 88 New York school districts, NERIC leadership and staff and educational technology providers and members of the Capital Region BOCES administrative team and board of education gathered on Dec. 11, 2015 at the Radisson Albany Hotel/Wolf Road in Colonie for NERIC’s 27th Annual Technology Awareness Day.
Dozens of NERIC staff, members of the NERIC and Capital Region BOCES leadership teams, BOCES district superintendents and those from the area business community gathered on Nov. 4 for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting at NERIC’s new Plattsburgh facility.
