Penny Roberts has been selected as a managing program coordinator I for NERIC's schooltool service. She is taking on the role formerly held by John Wyld, who has moved to NERIC’s Managed IT team as a technical account manager.
Roberts has 20 years of experience with the Capital Region BOCES and NERIC. She began her BOCES career with the Special Education division with the Special Education Training Resource Center (SETRC) and has since held several positions within the NERIC. She has most recently served as a program coordinator II for more than eight years with the schooltool team.
"Penny has a depth of knowledge about the organization, our customers and schooltool," said Jeffrey Luks, manager of Student Administrative Services. "We are very excited to have Penny join the management team and begin working with [fellow schooltool manager] Lisa Grant on managing the schooltool service. Penny and Lisa will continue the great work that has been started with the entire schooltool team on the service model they have created and the support they provide to our customers."
